Ulverley Hawks 2010/2011 under 10's promotion

The 2010/2011 under 10's team has progressed beyond our expectations and we have had a fantastic start to the season with Five matches won. The first game played was round one of the League Cup where we knocked out Wychall Wanderers, a Division A team that finished 4th but we went away with a 2-0 Victory. The next two matches played were league games against Feckenham Juniors who we beat 3-2 and Holy Name where we came away with a 2-0 match win. The fourth game was the 2nd round of the League Cup against Castle Bromwich, we scored and was 0-1 at half time but Castle Bromwich came back in the second half and we finished the game with a draw 1-1. After some nail biting extra time both sides failed to score so it went to penalties. We ended up winning 1 goal to 3 on penalties. The fifth match went to 1-1 at half time but we knocked two more goals in and won 3-1 against Smithswood. A few more games were lost a few were gained we gathered momentum and started a winning streak. At the end of this season we finished runners up and gained promotion a third time and pushed our way into Division A.
