This was a day to forget for Hainault, the day started off bad, 3 players turned up with minutes to go till kick off, the team having to change on soaking wet grass, and with a bare 12, 2 of the players injured, and with 3 players unavailble with injury, and not playing for 3 weeks.

So Hainault were under pressure before they had kicked off.

Hainault started like they hadn't played for 3 weeks and it showed, they found themselves a goal down within 5 minutes, Essex Minors added a 2nd 2 minutes later, and it was 3.0 5 mins later after Hainault conceded a penalty.

In the 2nd half Hainault started better but created little and found themselves further behind when Minors scored some well taken goals.

Hainault ended the game with a disappointing 7.0 defeat.
