This performance was so full of energy , desire and fighting spirit on a very wet and windy pitch An exciting open game with end to end play from both teams . Lots of chances were created by both teams in each half. It was down to some very good defensive play that there were no goals at half time. Kiki, Liam , Stephen and Thomas worked the defensive line well and kept the opposition out. Alex as usual made a couple of good saves with Stephen clearing of the line in the first half. Ben and Stephen came very close to scoring in the first half.

There were great linkup play between Ryan, Lee and Dan in the middle Adam and Callum put in lovely crosses for Ben who made tremendous runs at goal and could have had a hat full of goals on another day .Connor and Aiden came of the bench and performed well. I though we were very unlucky to loose this game .It was one of the best passing display I have seen all season and was very pleasing to see the whole team working for each other and creating chances .

Ben deserved this award as he was not fully fit but managed to play full game and was a constant threat to the opposition with his quick change of speed and aggression. Dan and Adam were the other close contenders.

A very positive display of football by the whole team despite conceding late in the game due to the slippery pitch. Keep up the good work and we will succeed with a bit of luck and lots of hard work.
