Friendly against Castle Bromwich did not disappoint - what a great and enjoyable game of football with loads of goals!.
We had 4 players away so we played with 7 and they did not dissapoint us. We took the lead through Idrees' great effort after 5 minutes who got the ball and banged it into the left side of the goal. Good goal to open your account Idrees, well done.
Castle Bromwich soon equalised though and then took the lead to make it 2-1 after 15 minutes or so. We switched some players around and put Mo back into Centre Mid. It paid off, Mo soon got the first of his 4 goals with some neat play by the team with Mo finishing. Again Castle Brom took the lead but we had a free kick and Mo took it. He sent it crashing into the back of the net to make the half-time score 3-3.
We came out for the second half a little tired but rareing to go. Mo got his hat-trick after 10 mins into the half with a bizzare goal. Mo wacked it near the keeper's touchline and it looked as though the ball was going out of play but sort of turned and past the goalkeeper. WOW, what a way to get a hat-trick. But again Castle Brom equalised as we failed to pick up their players. We took the lead again through, yes you guessed it, Mo who slid the ball cooly into the net to make it 5-4. Just as though it looked as though we were going to ge the win, Castle Brom equalised with 2 mins to go. We had a free kick in the last few seconds of the game which Mo crashed - it looked goal bound but unfortunately hit one of our players and out.
The final whistle went and the game finished a thrilling 5-5, a fair result.

Considering we had 4 players missing, the team played well but they were very tired at the end of the game as we didn't have the luxury of subs. However, the team that played today performed brilliantly and you should be very proud of yourselves.
If we keep playing like this every week when the season starts, we will do well so keep up the good work.
